I'm seeing IPs that google searches connect to other coins. I won't name names, it's possible (just) that those IPs are dynamic and that whoever has them now and is the culprit is not who had them before, it's also possible (in fact, probable) they are infected botnet machines in a large part.

There are several possible motives as I see it:

- Big miners knocking over pools to hold diff down so they can mine more coins
- Other pool owners attacking competitors pools
- Other coin devotees attacking competing coins
- Spotty teenagers with nothing better to do

There are probably more, but speculating about the reasons won't get the problems fixed.
