As a developer i can say this is true,only few pros i can imagine right now:
*Gambling is a risky job cause of the laws.Blockchain is more anonymous and it helps for this.
*You must be a company to use most of payment methods.Cryptocurrencies remove this.
*it is not in controll of someone,so you feel more secure.
etc...
Internet is a anonymous place and it's payment methods also should be.So i think blockchain tech is a good thing.Not for just gambling in every hand.

So many cryptocurrency based gambling websites are already running successfully thanks to the anonymity aspect of the blockchain which is why I believe this is a boon for gamblers around the world.
The biggest con here is that this is a double edged sword where no one can help you if you are not paid your dues most likely.
