He said you can't put a link to his own site? Are you sure you or he didn't get confused with having other affiliate links? I know they're not live any way yet but that doesn't really make any sense.

Our affiliate system is not currently active. When it is active you will be able to profit from users you refer.
However if you are in our advertising campaign on BitcoinTalk you will not be allowed to participate in both at the same time.

Thanks for the clarification, but that's a bit weird this will be disallowed and a shame if it stands. I don't see why we shouldn't be able to benefit from both.
