It does seem legit, but I suppose it could just be scammers pretending to be Hamas, like those phoney dark-web hitmen-for-hire a few years back. You can't trust anyone these days.

You'd be surprised how stupid people are what they will donate money to. Gofundme has a lot of ridiculous campaigns that raise millions of dollars for useless causes or they are just completely fake.
