Sri Lanka had a very poor test series against Australia, they didn't show much fight at all which was a shame as it would of been nice to see them fight a lot harder today and make Australia earn their wickets but that wasn't the case. Strac ripped through Sri Lanka in both innings taking 10 wickets for the match and deserved man of the match. Sri Lanka have a long way to go before they come good again, I just hope that it doesn't take too long.
This is a bigger challenge for the SL cricket board as this was one of the top sides when they had players like Dilshan, Sangakara, Jayawardhan, Murlidharan etc and with the retirement of their's the team has just not being able to get the right combination or player are just not upto the international standards.
Srilanka is in lack of international standards players. I can barely see someone is really playing good. Most of their player are quite young and not experienced. I can see a bad world cup for Srilanka while they had good position since the 2007 world cup. I don't see a batsman like Sanggakara, Srilanka will miss him for some more years. It is hard to get a player like him.
