A lot of my friends are not using it again right now consider there was a bunch of complicated verification process. they can freeze your money anytime as they want. I'm not sure you can withdraw them easily from there. Just put a little money to test it
I left Poloniex about two years ago. There were no problems, just my operations with ethereum ended then, and other coins required other exchanges. I came back at the end of 2018 and passed the KYC extremely easily. Try it if you have to.
