The market crash has made investors leave however this is not a bad thing persay. Many invested without a clue what they were investing in, hence the funding of terrible projects and scams which were actually detrimental to the who cryptocurrency ecosystem.

The question of future trust, however, is a much more difficult question to answer. Markets are generally cyclical and what I suspect is that we will see a future bounce back. How big the bounce, I dunno, but that depends on how much progress the already-funded projects make and also, what's on the horizon in the background.
