To join the previous list, you had to send the amount of sMerits which is much more than the amount of merits you received.
For you to send more smerit than earned merit that means you have to be a merit source or hoard smerit received from current month and then merit user in the next month so your smerit sent will be more than your merit receive that doesn't sound fair to me and as for the merit sources aspect, it is more of a duty. Don't you think the formula needs reviewing?
It seems to me that some of the goal of this information compilation is to attempt to identify merit sources, yet I agree with your underlying premise that a merit source that merely gives away source merits and not his/her personal supply of smerits is not necessarily more generous than a member who is giving away smerits from his/her bank of smerits....
Maybe would be a new thread, or perhaps a tweaking of the information in this thread that would frame the question differently and would attempt to subtract merit source smerits, and part of the difficulties anyhow, even with merit sources, there is not a list of either who are designated as merit sources nor the quantity of their source of smerits (including times in which the source merit monthly allocation of smerits might have been changed by theymos) which already has been discovered to have happen on a few occasions.
