Xem is a project that seems to me very worthy. I heard that the project is really on the verge of bankruptcy. I think that today there are hopes for an improvement in the situation on average. I think that there is a need for platform support.
The money is there to fullfil the new leadership's new plan to address the utter hopelessness of the previous foundation. It's up to the users to vote to decide whether they should get it.
I don't think anyone's interested in actual facts or details. They can't get beyond the first two lines of a (wrong) headline these days.
