Is ethereum going to be next bitcoin?

Ethereum will never get to be a next bitcoin,look at the positioning in market now?ethereum cant even took the number 2 spot from Ripple(XRP) so what more the number 1 position from bitcoin?
Ethereum and bitcoin is two different currencies and cannot be comparable,please put that on mind and to all ethereum fanatics here
