Many addicts always say "one more bet" until they end up completely broke. Sometimes you just need to know when to walk away and handles your losses.
high curiosity makes them want to continue the game,
"one more bet" because in the next game will get a jackpot (imagination)
This is only some of the reasons why we still continue and I'd say it's a bad kind of motivating ourselves.
We continue to gamble to still get entertain, and not to be greedy or be unrealistic that we can win the jackpot easily, this will lead us to a high risk
future in gambling and most likely we will not be able to last.
In gambling the chances of making money in the long term will get decreases so if you are increasing the number of bets actually going to decrease the probability of winning and will lose more money on betting.
