In my view, whitepaper is nothing. It's true that by reading whitepaper you will know about the blockchain technology solutions they offer and whether this project is a scam or not because the project scam is only copying the white paper of another project. In the current condition of ico, I cannot think of the benefits of what we can get from reading the whitepaper, because when ICO still had a lot of interest/hype, we could analyze investor interest by reading and understanding the whitepaper.
