I'm glad there are signs of hitting walls with mining. Here's why. If you have read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niall_Ferguson book "The Ascent of Money" and looked at the influx of gold from the new world when it was first discovered, it caused huge inflation and people couldn't afford to buy bread. Too much supply of gold (money) caused the problem. Scarcity keeps inflation at bay. Same thing with cryptos, too much supply will do the same thing. That's why I'm here. ASICs can't come and blow it apart. Vertcoin is now synchronized to the ebb and flow of a real economy. It's now tied to finite resources.

For the good of the coin, we need to strengthen everything for security and deal with dodgy behavior immediately to keep the bar very high. That is marketable!

Not sure who can help on these items but they should be addressed:

1. There are changes needed to the Vertcoin Wallet as it isn't syncing properly.
Thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/1x0zda/how_to_get_your_wallet_to_sync/

2. My AV found a virus in the Windows download "cpuminer-vert-Aleks_N.zip"
Suggest removing this download completely as CPU mining is long gone. CPU mining was already too late by Feb 2nd.

Other's who've seen my postings. Poloniex support has been very, very responsive! Kudos.
