You can't. Which is why ICOs are worse than gambling.
It is worse way of investing your money than just something that you can still have an entertainment and plus points for having fun in gambling. Technically even the most legitimate team won't guarantee you a good ICO to invest at. Yes they could be legit but their projects could not be great which is not worth it even if ICO ended and you get your returns.
