Applecoin needs to change its identifier- There is another "MAC" called machinecoin. You can see the coin at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434190.0 it was launched before applecoin and its legit. If you look at the main.cpp of applecoin, you will see they epoch time is 1389118820 (1/7/2014 @ 18:20 utc) and machinecoin is 1391697667 (1/6/2014 @ 20:41). Also, applecoin did not appear to change anything from the bitcoin code (ie. specs or pszTimestamp in the code). Also machinecoin claims "MAC" at mac.com-http.us .
