You don´t need to do any of that. Just click on your name in any post you made and you have your Profile URL.
Its funny how people can complicate the simplest things 
i had the same thoughts. there is a lot of effort in the first post and i think it was well meant.
and then a sentence like that comes in post no. 2 and everything was done
