Why don't musicians get paid as much as it's promised? Where's the money?
It was being drained by few musicians self-playing their music for over thousands of plays per day. That's a lot of MUSIC considering for the USD price, we were getting around 12 MUSIC per play. Now we just have to wait to see what the devs do to sort things out.

Investors pay musicians for listening to songs while listeners receive music for free
such a model can not exist, because the price of the coin quickly falls to zero, the miners will stop production and the whole project simply ceases to exist, because musicians will not receive payment and investors will not pay musicians for music without making a profit.
any successful project should, in the first place, protect investors and make it possible to earn first-hand investors, not musicians
if the developers do not change the basic principles of the economic model, the project will inevitably die!
