I think buying altcoins in bear market is a great idea but its better to just use excess money to buy them so that you can HODL for a long time until you reach your price target 
Hmm, bear market. For example monthly chart for LTC/USD has higher highs and higher lows for three months now. Litecoin demonstrated 112% growth since mid December.
