the reason we choose bitcoin is that bitcoin is a coin that has led the market today. especially for bitcoin competitors, of course they cannot target bitcoin. the problem is the price of bitcoin can already see that the price is higher than other coins.
No one can beat yet the popularity of usage of bitcoin. Though the fee is relatively high as compared to others but people keep using it as they already trusted bitcoin no matter what.
Frankly speaking it is not about people it is about small group which hold majority of btc ,they will never allow any other coin to surpass it.Btc is considered supreme as when there is fomo or fud ,traders start exchange their altcoin for btc or Fiat to minimize the loss or to gain high profit so market is dependent on btc so that why it will be number one always.
