I have turned off many settings at once, the problem disappeared. Now I reset all the settings back to default and the black screen returned
Have you tried re-installing chrome? maybe it's because of the recent update of the app? ( I can't try it on my own for I don't have any enough data remaining on my load to continue on downloading a new app) Maybe re-installing it without updating the app may solve this issue (Just keep on using old version of Chrome App)?
