They do have communications channels, Twitter, Facebook and Discord.
However Cryptopia has been told not to comment by the Police until more is known. They are currently busy assessing the extent of the damages and I would assume making plans to move forward.
I would expect to hear something either this week or next week hopefully.

Meaning any talk of "exit scams" are dismissed as they can't simply "run away" with everyone money.
