I made over 1 BTC trading NTS from 700 SATS to around 1300 SATS. You're right tho, you can make so much more money in BTC. If you invest $4,000 into BTC today you might have $4,020 in the next 6 months! That's a $20 gain 
haha, yeah but the difference is that if you buy $4000 worth of bitcoin today you can be sure that in 6 months you will have $4020 (of course it will be a lot higher than that, just using your own numbers). but at the same time you can also be absolutely sure that if you buy $4000 worth of some pump and dump altcoin in 6 months it will be worth $20
