at this moment Musicoin = YouTube = worst per-stream payouts.They need to improve their payment per stream. Otherwise, musicians will just stick to youtube and not bother this app. Or the reason of low payment might be because they are just in the early phase of launching this to the public. Give them time to gain more viewers and users.
I think that they cant afford to pay more. For the beginning, the team should achieve growth in the value of the project itself and only then pay out the net profit to the musicians.
