I am not sure whether it will make any significant change because everyone have heard about bitcoin unless you are living in a isolated island without the outside world news, but majority does not know how and what to do in the market and they think it is a geek market and unless you break that jinx and make sure that every Jack and Harry can follow the guidelines on how to purchase and save the coins properly, you wont see the general population getting interested in it, having a bitcoin symbol could trigger some people to find out about the market, slow and steady we will win the race.
