Even after Ten years still Bitcoin is used by Geeks and majority of common citizens doesn't seems to use Bitcoin as a currency or even for trading purposes and I think this situation has occurred because still it is not approachable and that is because even it has all the features for a proper usability majority of people doesn't see Bitcoin as an usable currency for anyone who has basic technical knowledge which is not true but in order to change this situation and make Bitcoin more approachable to common people how its path should change in the future both technically and socially to convince it is a currency for everyone
I disagree, bitcoin is very easy to use the wallets are installed in the same way that you could install any software and you can send your coins by just copy and pasting, it cannot get any easier than that, the main difference with any other piece of software is that due to the decentralized nature of bitcoin you are the one that needs to make sure that you downloaded the wallet from the right site and that you are keeping a backup of your private keys and your seed.
Also you need to make sure your computer is virus free, that is definitely a problem for most people since they do not take their digital security seriously but that is something that needs to change and it is not the fault of bitcoin that people do not do that.
