It was a real surprise to me that according to recent research people are addicted to drugs mainly because they can't bond well with people and are not able to live a satisfying life. The research shows that when an addicted person appears in a loving and caring environment, the addiction kind of disappears (even heroin addiction). I wonder what are your thoughts on this matter and whether you think you could say the same about gambling addiction.
Well, dissatisfaction is not a new reason for us why people get addicted into playing gambling because they are seeking for more than what they currently have. But loneliness in the other part is new for me and is surprising to know that it can be one of those reason why people get addicted into gambling so I think it is because those people really want just to entertain themselves by playing even they do have have a company of friends just to temporarily forget they are alone.
