I think if you are not lucky in life, then mathematics will not help when you came and lost all the money.
Mathematics is different from mathematics ... There are people working out such grandiose schemes of earning money in casinos that whole books are dedicated to them or films are made.
But such people are 1 in 10,000! And I think that only in the movies there are such people! It's all about luck, and that luck doesn't last forever!
Personally I think that trading is not about luck. Of course there are some moments when you cant predict further changes and you have to relay on your intuition. However, mostly trading is about constant work and skills improvements
