Im feeling like most altcoins have bottomed out for the most part. If things ever turn around, I think a lot of these projects will skyrocket.
I currently have 79% of my holdings in BTC. 8% Eth, 7% LTC, 3% BNB, and the rest in various shitcoins.
Lets say I wanted to put 5% of my bitcoin into 3 projects...what would you recommend?

IMO, Altcoins. With ALT you will have more than option available for investment and this helps you to diversify your investment portfolio. I can suggest you some digital assets (coins) on which you can start doing some research and study their websites. Only invest if you feel that these projects have potential. 5 Digital Assets that have good future in the cryptospace could be Emc2, Dgb, Stellar, XLM and SC. Just my two cents on this.
