When updating to the new version, all the benchmarks have been deleted. Only the best benchmark of each algo has been saved

Havn't seen this myself.
Could it be that an old config/backup has been restored if the config.xml file is barfed - e.g. after a crash?
Would this be written to the log with the default settings?
