Many of us use bitcoin only in exchange/trading site, while bitcoin should be more used in marketplace/online shop. Which one do you choose? Do you prefer to use bitcoin on a trading site or marketplace/online shop? And why do you chose that?
I don't prefer to store Bitcoin on trading site. I just place my Bitcoin on exchange when in need to convert coin then transfer it immediately again on my own wallet. I believe that my assets is not safe when stored in something that does not offer full control of funds. We store our funds in a storage that gives full control of the private key. This makes the funds even more secure and safe. I prefer to use Hodler wallet since it's fully open source multiwallet unlike any other wallet that is partially or closed source.
Although storing coins on crypto exchanges is not safe yet we see billions of dollars being stored on Binance and other big exchanges. People need to trade and there is no other option than to move the bitcoins on the exchanges and trade with them. The only precaution we should take is that always trade on good exchange and avoid small ones.
