Maxcoin was the most epic scam launch,
nothing worked , windows wallet was broken , said its gonna be cpu coin but @@'s
and the biggest irony of all ...... is that he delayed 24hrs the FAIR (my @ss) launch because bitcointalk was down, ROLF!
so there are 2 reason all these was happent
A) Max is a tard & his dev team a bunch of n00b amatures
B) Master mind despicable me(MAX) + his minions tryin to get all the altcoin world in his feet... guess what mister...you failed!
The lack of windows gui was quite surprising yes, I had expected more.
The stray Makefiles in the first .zip for example showed what a rush the dev's were in...
To be fair their FAQ did say that GPU mining would be possible long before launch.
In response to the reasons:
A) the dev team actually seems pretty good, its certainly not a generic coin-gen job.. I also like Kimoto Gravity Well etc.. I hardly understand some of new algo stuff but its interesting and refreshing.
B) I feel I'm unqualified to comment on Max's "tard"iness..
I can say that he's got a fantastic track record of "telling it like it is" and starting general altruistic projects.
