You have probably heard that after all the scandals around Facebook in 2018, the company is now looking into blockchain to provide better solutions to its users.
However, it seems like Facebook is rather using the hype around blockchain to improve its reputation and is not really ready to transform its business model.
Vlad Dramaliev is arguing that Facebook will either have to provide crypto micro-payments and reward its content creators, or it will be replaced by another social platform that does all this and more!

Thank you for the informative read. I think facebook is having some outflow of customers (mainly generation z and y), nevertheless I don't believe any competitor would be able to overtake them anytime soon. Implementing a native cryptographic token on their platform sounds like a PR stunt. Only time will tell.
