it was up here https://github.com/Max-Coin/clients/releases/tag/1.0, I did the source... but I think they took it down, the conf file needs t obe updated by adding more nodes to help sync up.

I got that one but it was the dos screen and goes off.

I wish they could get a GUI like every other coin.

I know I should learn to run the one they have.

Guys here you can find the MaxCoin wallet GUI for Windows, Linux or Macintosh: just use https://github.com/Max-Coin/clients/releases/ instead of https://github.com/Max-Coin/clients/releases/download/1.0/wallet-windows.zip

do i just install it over the cmd prompt one or do i need to save something first? don't want to loose whats in there.

IMPORTANT: If you have the cmd wallet with MaxCoins create a back up of the wallet.dat file.

1. Download the "wallet-windows-zip" from https://github.com/Max-Coin/clients/releases/
2. Extract the "wallet-windows-zip" file to your desired location
3. Click the "maxcoin-qt.exe" file
4. MaxCoin Qt up and running.

If you need to change the wallet.dat file with a back up, go to:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application data\MaxCoin Windows XP
C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\MaxCoin Windows Vista and 7
