I'm wondering this as well, and the math doesn't add up.  I've checked as many as I can find.  I think there are some (or a) multipool(s) on it full time taking a chance.  I don't know much about the infrastructure but if I was programing a multipool like middlecoin, that didn't reveal what was being farmed, I would be splitting the huge hash between several new coins for consistent profit rather than slamming one coins difficulty and then another.
