I would say a good step for that board - before appointing a new MOD - would be to define it's purpose.
I like going through there from time to time, it's a decent place to lend a hand. Often you can find users who genuinely want to learn or need help and found the beginners board. Unfortunately it's such a smorgasbord of ideas and clashing motives behind each topic.
Looking at pinned topics it was great place to start, ask a basic questions, learn how to use the forum, then move onto the different boards to further develop. I wasn't around when/if it was ever a clear starting point to getting involved in the cryptosphere, but I feel like it needs to go back to the basics. It would be great if this board was used to help people understand where to post or the best place for a question if it is above and beyond the basics. We can also then provide the basic getting involved information, and have discussions around safe practices, how to use BTC, explain the difference between BTC and Altcoins; without having to compete against general spam, bounty/airdrop spam, and other noise getting in the way of the intended signal.
With at least a decent idea of what we want this boards purpose to be to meet the current needs of a B&H section, we can then look at reporting and moderating it.
Beginners & Help - All primitive questions (to pros like us Cool) like "what are ASICS", "who is satoshi" and "what is mining" should stay here
