Before you buy coins, it's good to see the crypto market price conditions. Ethereum has increased and is sometimes pumped. Even though the pump isn't too high. And I would rather hold Ethereum than EOS. But if you believe in EOS coins, I think you can buy it.
I myself also like you better hold ethereum than EOS because ethereum is a coin that is often pumped though little by little. moreover this year ethereum users will definitely get a big profit
ethereum is widely adopted by people while EOS was getting adopted by a little percentage of cryptocurrency users. I m holding a lot of ethereum too and I never try to hold any other smartcontract coin. ether is much better than EOS from various factors.
