Do i need to change the name to wallet1.dat or something? It seems if I have coin in old wallet.dat and I overwrite it with the new wallet.dat, I will delete coin.

Basically when you update the reddcoin-qt.exe you don't need to touch the wallet.dat file. If you want to feel safe just backup everything.
Maybe I'm over thinking this but I'm sure when everyone else started, this was a fear. lol So, I have the old RDD wallet with said dat file or address. Then I updated and now have 2 RDD wallets. The two programs are separate and each have a different Receive address. If I overwrite the old wallet .dat file won't I lose all the coins associated with that wallet file?
