Basically yes. The coin gains value and acceptance by being distributed to as many people as possible. By giving it away you actually make it more valuable. I have a lot yet to give away, but as the price continues going up I'll have to think about development bounties. Premine needs services soon, and we're not far away from getting to a price point where that is possible.
