I think the best cryptocurrency for payment are stable coins like USDT or TrueUSD. There are too many risks if we use bitcoin or another altcoin for payment since the price is very fluctuating. If I have a marketplace of course I chose a payment that can give me guarantee in value.
That is because Bitcoin is still too small to become a stable currency, but maybe it will be stable in ten years from now.
