IN my opinion, the whole ICO field is kind of scamming people. Rarely projects are trustable. Better avoid ICO overall.
Nah, that's not true, what the op has discussed here is in no way a scam. You got what you invested and you weren't scammed. The only problem here is that the price broke down and went below the purchase price. So in this case they have no other option than to still give you what you paid for.
Take for example you bought 1000 tokens and it is worth 1 ETH currently $143, which means the 1000 tokens you paid for is worth $143, if the price of ETH falls to $100, you will be paid that $100 cause that's what the tokens are worth as of then, there is no scam in it. It's just the risk we see in cryptocurrency.
