I just hope they are not entering the "alt-coin" phase of understanding crypto. That is when some executive says "Eureka! We should create our own coin, better than bitcoin, meet VisaBucks!"

if you will read article many depends how US regulators will recognize btc
If it will be recognize like a fiat money than Visa will deal with btc like a currency
Now US regulators see btc more like commodity
But lets see for sure blockchain can give Visa more security save on transactions etc
It will be good even if Visa will like to support cards what will accept crypto
