There is a difference between moderation and censorship.
Mods: Delete the comments you feel are spam. Don't delete my responses.
I don't know what rules they apply. Sometimes I also got a message that a post has been deleted which was totally weird. Maybe someone reports a post and the mods delete it without check it, but I don't know for sure.
