Yes, most of these projects are uncalled for and those who are running those projects are just doing it to make their money and thats it. I see all these projects, but I still wake up and see that another person copied the same project, quite funny. And they be expecting people to invest in projects that are not unique.
With every new change in technology, we will see these kind of people who try to make money from the new change and the people who invest in those must have a clue on what they are really up to, but still they wanted to invest thinking they will make a huge return and nothing else. Some learn the hard way and some get lucky by earning huge returns.
The truth is that I have seen a lot of claims on what the blockchain can be used for, but none of them are being fulfilled at all. I have seen and heard a lot of things, but this one of election is what Im just seeing today. I dont know how that works or how exactly Blockchain is going to help to curb election rigging. The way it is built, that seems impossible to me, but I will do some research though.
It is a new technology and it will take some time for everyone to come up with new ideas on how to implement it so that the general public will have a good service in the end.
