If I total all lost in gambling I thinl more than 5 bitcoin since I played gambling but now I really recover my lost a little but not literally all of my lost but it's okay for me because I still have more time to recover it and I will make sure I will recover it when this year end.
At least you have recovered unlike the other gamblers that until now, they keep on chasing their losses. If it's hard for you to recover the whole amount, you should be happy at the current amount that you were able to recover.
There are other ways of making money as well and you can also try to compensate your losses in those businesses unlike in gambling where if you loose, it’s gone.
Everyone can choose this, if there's no way to recover it through gambling then compensate it with other means. Just like what you have mentioned and we all have the free will to do this whichever you think suits your style.
