People are still investing in Ripple, because it is not a bad coin. They are making very big announcements like partnerships with the half of all Asian banks, but unfortunately this currency is centralised and in my opinion ETH is much better.
I agree with you. I, too, like Ethereum and somehow even scares such a non-healthy interest in Ripple. I'm already waiting for the moment when it is watered. You need to choose more stable and trusted coins.
