Maybe there are crypto adoption but I don't think it causes the prices to increase.
I think it's a way to have more visits to that certain exchange/trading platform that the OP is including.

I'm just curious also to what extent is Africa capable of usage of crypto, I think with the majority of 35% of internet users, I think they could really apply cryptocurrency as a form of payment. The real application begins.

I belong to several cryptocurrency groups populated by Africans and I know how daily increase we have in members flooding these groups. Although that number dropped middle of 2018, it has picked up again now. And of course, demand sets the pace for price determination and increase. The more people use cryptocurrency, the higher price goes. That was what happened in 2017 where almost all the cryptos recorded ATH.
