Where I think its really necessary for us to take it as a responsibility to make the forum effective for our new users and upcoming members too.
You shouldn't be only encouraged just by receiving merit from giveaway. It is not necessary to earn merit to be able to contribute in the forum. I am not saying that you shouldn't be encouraged when you received merit from giveaways/contest. If you really want to contribute to the forum then I am 100% sure you'll get rewarded just like these forum users that contributed a lot. DdmrDdmr, theyoungmillionaire and more. I tried to contribute and I did. I created a thread about 2FA that really help some forum users especially newbies.
