Private crypto made by a social network owned by Russian government? What a joke, April 1st was 2 days ago, this is just as ridiculous as private crypto made by Facebook or Google.
Yup. And as with Facecoin or whatever nonsense they are calling it, I doubt it will even be a cryptocurrency at all. I'm sure they will call it one, solely as a means of advertising, but these companies who make their money from controlling your data have no interest in giving away any amount of control to decentralization. It will be a payment processor, which will either not be based on blockchain at all, or will be on a private blockchain completely under the control of the company's senior administration.
Just yet another shitcoin to add to the every growing pile.
