Cool coin! Maybe I'm missing something, but is this coin loaded w/one ATOM?

Hi there, yes, the coin is loaded with 1 ATOM from what I can tell (I've never opened the capsule to check), but it does state that on the frontside of the coin.
Also, it seems to be a very similar or same design as a Casius coin which had public/private keys behind the hologram on the backside.

A hologram does not mean its loaded. If it was there would be a way to verify loading...or should be.

From the looks of the picture of the backside with the hologram,
You can make out the square recess where the key should be.
It looks "depressed" thus making me think there is no private key underneath

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by the comment. Are you saying the hologram has been removed? If so, I can assure you it hasn't as I have been the only owner of the coin since the original handoff from 2017 and I wouldn't do so for a token currently worth about 3.10€ (depending on market IOU consulted).

Also, in person, I can tell the hologram is more 'extruded' than depressed. It is quite hard to tell but I am trying to make a video where this is more visible.

I cannot- without more outside information- confirm if there is or isn't a cosmos token inside it. My *guess* is there is, but I cannot assure that, and will edit the original post to reflect that. Maybe someone from the cosmos team can confirm this and tell us how to verify?

Oh no.. did not mean that it had been removed. Just that it might have been assembled with no paper/private key underneath.

And from your comment, it may just be the angle/lighting that makes it look that way...
So if indeed it is "extruded" out... it may have that small paper with the key Cheesy

I would imagine we can track down whomever assmbeled/made them and find this out somehow Wink
