Just a quick update:the website
https://archive.today/ seems to be down at the moment - anyone needing archive services can also use:
https://web.archive.org/ and enter your intended URL in the
Save Page Now box at right of screen.
Then there is archive.is and archive.fo as well. I am sure there are more like this but at the moment know only these two.
Also I don't know who had the access to previous donation address but it would be great if you change it to a new one since they are inactive now. I also am not sure what they had in mind about donation but it would be great if these donations are sent to tools we use on general like walletexplorer.
archive.is and archive.fo and are local domains that branch off of the main archive.today site - when you go to "today" it will send you to the site that is least active (eg "is" or "fo") I've seen other suffixes occasionally.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2544574.0#post_DonateDonations:I do not know who controls the wallet address
1KnownF41AXkhgry3wNTHJ7NZM6jo1Kohy which at the time of writing this has a balance of 0.017975 BTC (ie $ 268.3 USD on the 8th of December 2017 - via preev.com ) - It is also a little unclear the logic behind the distribution of prior donations from that address to some contributors...
If you would like to reach out to the person's who are in control of that wallet I would appreciate it as they have me on their "distrust" list on their "Trust Settings" trust list
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust so I am unlikely to get a rational response from them.
Any suggestions on who would hold the purse-strings, or, how the funds get divvied up - I would appreciate any suggestions.
*edit*
@
LoyceV can attest I am capable of rolling up a vanity wallet with eg
1KnownXXX / 1KnownMk3 or similar if the contributors here agree to have me look after any donations.
